Notes

Cheese selection: For a variety of flavors, feel free to try out several types of cheese. The often-used cheese is cheddar, but you may also use Gruyère, Parmesan, or a combination of your favorite cheeses.
Chive Variation: Although chives give the scones a great flavor, you can eliminate them or replace them with other herbs like parsley or thyme for a different flavor.
Handling the Dough: When handling the dough, be delicate and take care not to overwork it. This ensures that the baked scones will have a light and fluffy texture.
Baking Time: Keep an eye on the scones while they bake because your oven's precise baking time may change. When finished, they ought to be well-risen and golden brown.
Serving Suggestions: Mary Berry Cheese Scones taste best when they are served warm, right from the oven. You can eat them on their own or with your favorite spreads like butter or cream cheese.
